Smart transport, data on shared infrastructure in the EU

To ensure the development of the Intelligent Transport System in the European Union, each Member State will share information on its infrastructure.

National Access Points publicly available online on which to find all the main information on the infrastructure networks of a country: this is the aim of the text signed at European level by both the Council and the Parliament of Brussels, with the aim of developing a safe and connected transport network in real time. What the European Union aims at is the establishment of an integrated Intelligent Transport System among all Member States, within which to implement technologies such as autonomous driving and the electrification of means of transport starting from freight vehicles.
