Enhancing Logistics and Port Safety, Sustainability, and Productivity through Advanced Training

The Chamber of Commerce of Maremma and Tirreno, the Italian partner of the TECHLOG project, recently conducted a survey to identify the training needs of Italian companies, organizations, and associations operating in the logistics and port sectors. The training is primarily intended for truck drivers, quayside crane drivers, forecourt crane drivers, dockside drivers, and reach stacker operators. The main purpose of the training is to increase or improve safety at work, but the survey also revealed that any intervention through advanced training could improve labor productivity and reduce pollutants released into the environment.
