DEADLINE FOR INSTALLATION OF NEW SMART TACHOGRAPHS EXTENDED IN EUROPE
Until 30 September, the European Union grants an extension for the installation of the latest version of smart tachographs. The previous deadline set by the European Commission was set for August 21. By that date, the obligation to install the new tachographs on newly registered vehicles with a mass exceeding 3.5 tonnes used in the carriage of goods or persons should have entered into force. Thanks to Italian intervention, tolerance is granted by the European Commission.
